Passaic County Workforce Learning Link is:

A unique computer-based program designed to move people from unemployment back to employment or to improve opportunities for people already in the workforce.

The primary goals are to assist participants to attain a level of self sufficiency, and ultimately enrich the lives of participants through career advancement and life long learning.

The program also strives:
· to increase reading and mathematics skills
· to increase computer skills
· to increase communication skills
· to increase participants overall readiness to enter the workforce or advance to further training

Eligibility Requirements

Must be legally eligible to work in the United States


Must demonstrate a need for basic skills enhancement


Must identify an attainable goal and/or outcome


ABE: Must have a minimum of a 4th grade reading and math level on the TABE test


GED: Must have a minimum of a 8th grade reading, math, and language level on the TABE test


ESL: Must have a minimum 439 on the BEST Plus test
